Welcome to Fourth Grade

“I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength.” This is a year where students are demonstrating increased responsibility for learning and managing their time well. Students are beginning to understand how they best learn and how to set personal goals.

Mrs. Katie Meihak

“And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.” (Ephesians 3:17b-19)

 

Mrs. Meihak joined the Emmanuel Lutheran School faculty in 2023. She graduated from Martin Luther College in 1998. She taught K-3 at St. Mark’s Lutheran in Lincoln, NE, and then served as a part-time teacher’s aide and gave piano lessons at Northdale Lutheran in Tampa, FL while her children were young. In 2013, her family moved to Doral, FL, where
she was a full-time PreK-12 substitute teacher for two years, and then taught 5th grade for 8 years at Divine Savior Academy. Mrs. Meihak and her husband, Al, are blessed with three children - Molly, Hannah, and Will. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, any kind of outdoor activities, playing games or sports, and reading.
