Welcome to Fifth Grade

Fifth grade is a big year of many changes for these students–working with multiple teachers, opportunities to be on Emmanuel athletic teams, and joining musical groups. To thrive in this environment, the students continue to learn how to be efficient with the time and talents their Lord has given them. Throughout the year, students will grow spiritually and academically.

Mrs. Natalie Priebe

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.” Proverbs 3:5

Mrs. Priebe was raised in Phoenix and is thrilled to be teaching 5th grade at Emmanuel Lutheran School, where she attended grade school. She graduated from Martin Luther College in 2004 with an elementary education degree with an emphasis in English. She served her first assignment at Holy Trinity Lutheran School in Des Moines, WA where she served as their 4th, 7th, and 8th grade teacher. In 2005 she married her husband, Benjamin, and moved to Watertown, WI where she worked full time at a local bank as a Loan Processing Assistant. In 2007 she and Ben both accepted calls to teach (Ben to be the principal, as well) at Bethel Lutheran School in Sioux Falls, SD. Mrs. Priebe taught Kindergarten at Bethel while also starting their preschool program. From 2010-2022 Mrs. Priebe tutored part time, raised her four children, and supported her husband as he served in leadership roles at New Hope Lutheran (West Melbourne, FL), Fox Valley Lutheran High School (Appleton, WI), and Arizona Lutheran Academy (Phoenix, AZ). In 2022 she was excited to get back into the classroom and serve as the part time teacher assistant in the 1st and 2nd grade classroom at Emmanuel Lutheran School. Mrs. Priebe loves the beach, reading, and spending time with her family.
