On behalf of the Emmanuel school family, I want to extend a warm welcome to you!
Emmanuel exists to reflect the light of Jesus in the community and in cooperation with families, to equip children with the power of God’s Word and academic excellence. For the past 50 years, Emmanuel has had the wonderful privilege of carrying out this mission.
At Emmanuel Lutheran School and Preschool, we understand that choosing your child’s school is one of the most important decisions you'll ever make. Knowing this, Emmanuel provides an impactful education by sharing “Christ, Connection, and Caring” with our students and their families. It’s what makes our school special!
Emmanuel also focuses on educating the whole child—intellectually, physically, spiritually, and socially. Our small class sizes allow our teachers to get to know each child and their needs and strengths. This enables teachers to encourage students to use their talents, gifts, and abilities to serve their Lord and those around them.

Craig Kiecker, Principal
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart.” Proverbs 3:5 Mr. Kiecker has been serving at Emmanuel since the fall of 2009. Currently, he teaches math in grade 8 and is serving as the principal. Mr. Kiecker graduated from Dr. Martin Luther College in 1992. His first assignment was to teach grades 1-8 and serve as principal in Johnson, MN, from 1992-1996. In the fall of 1996, Mr. Kiecker accepted a call to help begin a school in Penryn, CA. While there, Mr. Kiecker served as principal and taught numerous grade combinations from K-8. From 2006-2009, he served as principal and lower grade teacher in Goodyear, AZ. Mr. Kiecker and his wife, Linda, have been blessed with two children, Samantha and Luke. In his free time, Mr. Kiecker enjoys gardening, camping, hiking, and baking.
