Back-to-School Orientation

Emmanuel's Back-to-School Orientation is scheduled for Wednesday, August 5, from 4:30- 7:30 PM. 

Classroom Visits: Teachers will be available in their classrooms to meet with parents and students. This will be a great time to ask questions, learn about classroom schedules and expectations, and share information and concerns with your child's teacher. Student supplies can also be delivered to the classroom on this day as well.  

The three Preschool through Grade 5 presentations are all the same so you only need to choose one of the time frames; and, if you have more than one child, you will still be able to attend each of your children's classroom presentations.

• 5:30 - 6:00  Classroom Presentation #1 --  Preschool - Grade 5 Classrooms 

• 6:00 - 6:30  Classroom Presentation #2 --  Preschool - Grade 5 Classrooms 

• 6:30 - 7:00  Classroom Presentation #3 --  Preschool - Grade 5 Classrooms

• 6:30 - 7:30  Grades 6-8 Presentation in the Ministry and Education Center (Oak Room)

Ministry and Education Center (Cedar Room) 4:30-7:30 PM.   Families will receive and/or submit items and documents and have the opportunity to meet with various individuals. This includes:

• 2026-2027 Student Handbook

• Calendar/Planner

• Athletic Handbook 

• Ordering School T-shirts

• Volunteer/Driving/Chaperone forms

• Drop off any student medications and complete medical consent forms

• Piano, Instrument, Guitar and Ukulele sign ups with Mrs. Severeid, Dr. Cota, and/or Mrs. Folkerts

• Meet Emmanuel's new pastor, Pastor Gensmer

• Purchase/Pay for needed books and/or fees 

• Meet with Bookkeeper, Darcy Meyer, as needed

• Speak with Jeff Weinstein from ACSTO to learn about the benefits of the program even if you are using the ESA program

 Please Note: You do NOT need to visit the Ministry and Education Center first. Feel free to go to classrooms first if that is more convenient for your schedule. Just be sure to stop in the Ministry and Education Center sometime between 4:30 and 7:30 PM.
