The Children's Christmas Services will be held on Sunday, December 15. Grades 1-8 will participate in both the 2:00 and 4:00 PM services while preschool and kindergarten will only participate in the 4:00 service. Because all the students have been memorizing and rehearsing songs and recitations for these worship services, the faculty plans and assumes all students will be participating. We look forward to this wonderful opportunity for the students to share the wonderful Christmas message!
Since we are anticipating a large number of people in attendance for these services, parents and families are encouraged to attend just one of the services. Preschool, Kindergarten, and families whose last names begin with A-J are encouraged to attend the 2:00 service while families whose last names begin with K-Z are encouraged to attend the 4:00 service
For the 2:00 service, the Junior Choir and all Instrumentalists should arrive and meet in the church at 1:15. By 1:45, all other 1st-5th grade students should meet in the Ministry and Education Center while 6th-8th grade students should meet in their classrooms. Preschool and kindergarten students will be seated with their families for the service and will come to the front of the church when an announcement is made. After the 2:00 service, all students will be supervised by teachers in their respective classrooms until the 4:00 service. Following the 4:00 service, parents can meet their children in the Ministry and Education Center.
