Second Quarter AR winners Congratulations to Danny, Shawntia, and Melissa!  As a team, they earned the most Accelerated Reader points during the second quarter.  They will be treated to Subway sandwiches on Tuesday as their prize.  New teams have been created and announced to the class.  Winners of the third quarter competition will also receive some kind of prize!  Therefore, students should be reading independently at home on a regular basis.  A good guide line would be about 30 minutes of reading a day!  ALL SIXTH GRADE STUDENTS are expected to complete a novel by Friday, January 25.
