What impact does a school have on its students?

At Emmanuel Lutheran School, this impact comes from God’s grace and truth. “Emmanuel” is an ancient word that refers to Jesus Christ; it means “God with us.” God and his Word isn’t just present in chapel or Bible class; it’s also present in Emmanuel's hallways, classrooms, playground, and parking lot. This means that all instruction and guidance on campus is Christ-centered, making an impact now and for eternity.
CONNECTION
Emmanuel is a place where students, friends, families, and our faculty connect with each other. This is done with a purpose, because education is most impactful when it is done in cooperation with families. Emmanuel provides many opportunities for parents to be involved at school, from the classroom to volunteering to creating new programs. As a result, the school is known for its safe, supportive, and loving atmosphere for the whole family.
CARING
The most impactful force in this world is the love of Jesus. That love is shared with each student and family in Emmanuel’s small school environment. Low student-to-teacher ratios ensure that every student receives individual attention and care. Emmanuel’s teachers are committed to whole child education so that each student grows intellectually, physically, emotionally, socially, and spiritually, too. This prepares students not just for the next level of education, but for any future.
